HYDRATING MIST

Mist is a hydrating solution suitable for dry and sensitive skin. It is rich in minerals, polysaccharides, and antioxidants - obtained from copper, marine and wildflower extracts. It is intended to be paired with Oil, as it will lock in the hydration.

Each spray provides 0.10ml of product. 
With daily use of 4-6 sprays, one bottle will last ~3 months.

INGREDIENTS: Copper-infused distilled water, organic Rosa damascena (Rose) hydrosol, glycerin, Laminaria digitata (Oarweed) extract, wildflower extract*, lactobacillus ferment, malic acid, potassium sorbate. *Foraged from the Norwegian wilderness.

• Copper-infused Water
  Pure distilled water enriched with the healing properties of copper ions. It is known for its ability to enhance skin renewal, by supporting collagen and elastin production.   
  
  
• Organic Rose Hydrosol
  Selected for its delicate scent and soothing properties. It's associated with the heart chakra; and believed to uplift spirit and promote feelings of inner peace. Roses are one of the oldest cultivated plants in human history, with fossil evidence dating back over 35 million years.
  
  
• Oarweed Extract in Glycerin
  Laminaria digitata, aka. Oarweed, is a seaweed that is found in cold, coastal waters in the North Atlantic Ocean. The one used is from Iceland and extracted in glycerin made from coconut (Cocos nucifera). It is rich in minerals, vitamins, polysaccharides, amino acids, and antioxidants. This makes it highly nourishing and soothing for the skin. Additionally, it serves as gentler alternative to hyaluronic acid.  
  
  
• Norwegian Wildflower Extract
  Yarrow, Meadowsweet, Oxeye Daisy, Red Clover and Lyng picked in the fjords and mountains summer 2024; infused for a full moon cycle in 60% pure ethanol. The amount used in will not cause drying for sensitive skin. 
  
• Malic Acid (a gentle AHA)
  A type of alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA), gently exfoliates the skin to refine texture and boost hydration. Its larger molecular size makes it a milder option compared to the other AHAs (e.g. glycolic and lactic acid), offering a more skin-friendly alternative for sensitive complexions. It is also used to extract the copper ions and to achieve ideal pH for the skin (4.5-5.5). 
  
  
• Lactobacillus ferment & potassium sorbate
  Two food-safe preservatives to ensure a stable product. Lactobacillus ferment is a probiotic-derived ingredient produced through the fermentation of Lactobacillus bacteria (found in naturally fermented foods). Potassium sorbate is the salt of sorbic acid, found in rowan berries; only 0.2% is necessary to inhibit molds and yeasts.  

This product is housed in violet glass bottles to protect it from light and oxidation, preserving its potency.

Article and media content on "Making the Mist" coming in the new year. A lot of research and consideration went into this product. Documents on ingredients will come as well, so that each batch can be traced.
