INGREDIENTS: Lunaria annua (Honesty) seed oil, Limnanthes alba (Meadowfoam) seed oil, Persea gratissima (Avocado) oil, Ricinus communis (Castor) seed oil, Cannabis sativa (Hemp) seed oil.

• Hemp seed oil from Michigan, U.S.
  Freshly pressed first week of December 2024. It is uniquely rich in linoleic acid, ALA, and GLA - powerful anti-inflammatory fatty acids aiding skin healing. These omegas are volatile, meaning they oxidize (go rancid) quickly - hence, the importance of using fresh pressed. 
  
  
• Castor bean from Mexico
  Provides excellent occlusive properties with its' uniquely high content of ricinoleic acid. This fatty acid contains a hydroxy group that binds with water, aiding in hydration. 
  
  
• Avocado fruit from Mexico
  High in oleic acid and antioxidants, which deeply nourishes the skin. Sourced from Chosen Foods, known for their purity. 
  
  
• Meadowfoam flower from Oregon, U.S.
  Rich in eicosenoic and docosenoic fatty acids, makes this the Nordic twin to jojoba oil. It's a highly stable oil that enhances hydration without feeling greasy. Sourced from flowers used as a rotational crop to enhance soil health and biodiversity.
  
  
• Honesty flower from U.K.
  The only oil of its kind, with high content of erucic and nervonic fatty acids. These are also long-chain fatty acid with exceptional stability, that provide a lightweight feel and protects the skin. 

I chose to not include any essential oils for this product, due to sensitivities and scent preferences. I want you to smell how fresh this blend is, without masking its' natural scent.

The first 4 oils in the ingredient list are very stable and have a shelf life of 1-2 years; batch001 was made in December 2024. While the hemp seed oil is volatile by itself, it's stabilized in the blend with the amount used. The product is housed in violet glass bottles to protect it from light and oxidation, preserving its potency. With the use of a treatment pump, the content is not exposed to oxygen. For the freshest content, use within a year - while it will stay good for 2.

Article and media content on "Making the Oil" is coming in the new year. A lot of research and consideration went into this product. Documents on ingredients will come as well, so that each batch can be traced.
